Halloween!

Carter's first Halloween was spent with family. He trick or treated briefly and visited both sets of grandparents in his owl costume. He enjoyed the trees the best.

Carter's first cold

Carter caught a cold yesterday. He has a runny nose, congestion and slightly elevated temp, but no fever. He is in good spirits still. He slept 12 hours last night. Daddy came home early tonight and we all had so much fun together. Uh oh, I see him tossing and turning on the monitor. Please sleep tonight Carter!!! Nope, doesn't look like you're going to. :(

Nearly 8 months ago...

I wanted to take a trip down memory lane tonight. 8 months flies.

Carter 7 and three quarter months

Carter is almost 8 months and he is changing by the minute. This weekend he started pumping up and down whenever we say dance or jump jump jump. He is making kissing sounds, although he is tempermental with giving kisses yet, usually preferring to slap Mommy's face instead. When he does respond to my request, he opens his mouth wide and just seems to plop against my mouth. Here are his latest favorites...

This is Carter's other grandma and it is pathetic that I don't have more pictures of the two of them together since she watches him every day of the workweek. But that will change from here on out.

Oh Happy Day!

It was a glorious early Fall afternoon today. I slept in 'till 8, Damian got a nap and Carter got his fair share of excitement playing airplane at Noah's party.
