Well the noise continues in this house, however, now, in addition to Gabe's lovely ear piercing shrieks, I now am hearing a "tough" animal. Gabe is starting to make his first animal sounds. He has been panting like a dog now for many weeks, but now he is trying to make pig or rinocerous snorting sounds by scrunching up his face. He also is saying the word "ball."
Carter is still making plenty of noise as well. During a typical day my carpet gets mowed and edged about 10 times. He also enjoys staking out his territory by claiming which toys are his. "No Gabe" is said so much that poor Gabe doesn't even take it seriously anymore. This bodes poorly for me just as I am starting to actually need to discipline curious little Gabe myself.
